It's essential when working with a realtor to have confidence in who they are and to know that they share your values. So here's a little about me so you know who you'll be working with.
I was born and raised in Vancouver and attended UBC, studying English, political science and languages, before studying in England and the U.S., where I did a Ph.D. in Education. I enjoy writing, and have authored one book and edited or contributed to several others, and I have taught at universities in the U.S. and more recently at UBC, SFU and UVic.
After a few years I decided I needed a new challenge, and went into real estate, something I had always been interested in. I enjoy it immensely, since it provides an opportunity to help people, as well as be creative and independent. I continue my writing when time permits but right now I find myself pretty busy.
Luckily I love the outdoors, since I have a great dog who keeps me there quite a bit, no matter what the weather! I also enjoy running, tennis, music and generally exploring new ideas and new places.
I think my friends and clients would say I'm honest, hard-working, organized and funny. And I believe that the only way a realtor/client relationship works is through openness, so I thought this would be a good start.
I work with clients in all areas of Vancouver, as well as Richmond, Burnaby and other cities in the Greater Vancouver area. Wherever your real estate needs are, I am happy to help you.
I look forward to meeting you.
